As the TON Society transforms into an independent organization, this marks the beginning of a new journey for our community. Community Growth and Achievements
Over the past year, TON Society has grown from a grassroots community initiative into a real movement, making huge strides toward achieving our first two goals of empowering individuals and increasing visibility in the ecosystem. Through successful initiatives, including Open Alliance Hackathons, Local Hubs, On-Chain Badges (SBTs), and Ambassador Programs, we have collectively demonstrated that the community is not only active but also capable of extraordinary collective action. This is a testament to your dedication and the power of the TON community.
Ambassador Program Success
The Ambassador Program opens the door for the most active community members to become official TON Ambassadors and launch their own local initiatives with the support of the TON Society. To date, we have over 100 ambassadors, 4 of whom have been promoted to TON Society roles. We have hosted over 50 global events and approximately 40 TON breakfasts, with a total attendance of over 5,000 people. The ambassadors held two training camps for the best participation projects in Tbilisi, Georgia and Minsk, Belarus.
The Biggest Hackathon: Opportunities and Challenges: The largest TON Hackathon to date offers emerging projects a golden opportunity to earn major prizes and connect with millions of Telegram users. We held 13 bootcamps, attracting 1,970 attendees, over 1,000 project signups, and 3,664 hackers participating in hackathons. In total, we awarded $590,000 in TON rewards and $240,000 in Telegram advertising credits. The judges selected 28 winning teams, 14 of which came from TON Society’s training camps.
Rapidly growing TON society
Over the past few months, TON Society has experienced unprecedented growth, attracting over 9 million users and expanding to 9 local hubs. In addition, TON Society has launched a new platform designed to attract and encourage participation from the TON community.
Launch of new platform: The TON Society platform we launched is designed to reward active members and issue on-chain badges. These badges are non-transferable Soul-Bound Tokens (SBTs) that will remain in your wallet permanently as a symbol of honor. . The total number of active members increased by 700%, while the number of activists increased by 17,000%. The platform has issued and distributed over 600,000 SBTs to over 500,000 unique wallets.
Multicultural appeal
At the same time, the TON Community and TON Society’s channels have also experienced rapid growth, attracting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds from around the world. The TON community represents the inclusiveness and influence of the TON ecosystem. Our diversity is our strength, a testament to The Open Network’s global appeal and reach.
